In January my sister in law lost her baby at about 25 weeks pregnant and decided they would have a graveside for him. What a sweet experience that was for our family. The past few months all the grandkids have been doing jobs to earn quarters for Matthew (to help pay for his headstone) Well this past weekend with Memorial Day the Sohm family all went together to see little Matthew's grave and the kids gave their quarters to Matthew's parents. It was such a neat thing to see the kids help out to help with Matthew. We had talked to the kids about going to see Matthew. Well right before we left I heard Garrett having the following conversation with his cousin Riley:
Garrett: Riley, did you know we are going to heaven?
Mom: What Garrett?
Garrett: We are going to heaven.
Mom: No Garrett we aren't going to heaven.
Garrett: But I thought you said we were going to see Matthew.
Then later in the car on the way to the cemetery Camri was so worried about her picture (her quarter chart she colored for Matthew) She said the following:
Camri: Dad, where is my picture?
Dad: What picture Camri?
Camri: My picture for Matthew?
Dad: Camri we already gave it to Tyler and Jana.
Camri: But I wanted to give it to Matthew.
